This place and stylists are the best. Claudia takes such effort as if it was her own hair being colored, styled and cut. Laloni takes her time to make sure you get what you ask for. Aside from hair she does brow lamination, lifting and tint.

Absolutely love the atmosphere and cut/styles! My hair is so sad we can't come in right now due to the temporary closure because of Covid-19 :(

I want to preface my review with the fact that I was a professional stylist for 20 years and I am extremely picky and quite exacting. I haven't been in the business for almost 20 years, now, and it's difficult enough to find a stylist who knows how to do their job correctly. My husband and I had traveled for 4 years and settled in a tiny town near the Mexican border with no chance of me getting my hair done by someone trustworthy. As a result, my hair was long, unstyled, and a hot mess. I can't even begin to express how HAPPY I am NOW. I was amazed to get an appointment on such extremely short notice since I was from out of town. But, am I EVER GRATEFUL!! Juan is such a talented and artistic stylist. My color is so beautiful and the cut -- I haven't had such a great cut in so long. I fully intend to make the 2 hour trip on a regular basis just so I can look my best. Honestly, I had forgotten how it felt to feel beautiful and composed as a woman. The right style and color, competently executed, make all the difference. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Juan, for fitting me in and changing my life and look back to what it formerly was.

Juan is the owner and he knows how to take care of his people & staff! I've got my hair done with him twice already.Him and his staff all do an amazing job and know what they're doing! Carmen is a receptionist and does a great job at keep the space clean and offers water or coffee while you're waiting which I appreciated the first time I got my hair done here! The second time it was just Juan and he was able to manage myself and other walk ins by just himself alone which was impressive and I appreciated the fact that he never left me waiting to long where I felt like he forgot that he was doing my hair or he was rushing my appointment! I originally tried this salon from a Groupon and I was really happy. I have been back several times for highlights and a trim. It's the only place I go to now. I see Leilani (sorry might be spelled wrong) she does a great job with my long hair and never cuts more than I ask for. She is very friendly and I'm glad I found her.

I've been coming to this hair salon for about 2 years or so and i absolutely love it!!! The staff are so attentive and nice so it makes the place even more better (which is why I've always dyed my hair here). Not once i have regretted coming to the salon or went out the salon disappointed with my hair!

Went in with hair that was a hot mess, multiple colors (last few from boxes) plus greying roots. I found Phoenician Hair Co through a Groupon and am so thrilled I did! I was blessed to have Lita there whose "magic hands" turned my horrific hair into a masterpiece through color, highlights, toner, and a haircut. She was meticulous in her work and you can tell she has a true love for what she does. I loved that she was as excited as I was with the results. Everyone there was kind and welcoming - the boss was there and you could tell he is well respected and loved by the staff which showed in every aspect of how the business was run. I have gone to many salons and usually hate the experience of it all but this is one I will be going back to. Highly recommended!!!!

I have been to this salon at least 7 times. Never have I returned to a place so long. A few stylists have done my hair and it's been fantastic. Leilani has been my stylist now for the most recent styles. They are all very precise and consistent with cut and color. It's not the fastest process, but that's because they are all being extremely thorough! Love them!

This place rocks. I came here after Ulta ruined my hair hoping this place could fix it. Ulta tried fixing it but it was still nothing to how I wanted it. So then I came into the Phoenician, showed Juan a picture of what I wanted and boom not only did he fix it but it turned out waaaay better. My hair looks straight out of Pinterest. I love this place, I'll never be going back to any other salon. The staff here is super sweet and they know what they are doing. On top of it they have good pricing.

The price for my services both times was super affordable, especially because my hair is long. I went in for a bridal updo. My regular hair dresser was out of town the week of my wedding and I came across Phoenician Hair Co on the web. From the very first time you walk in that place you are welcomed. The staff there is so pleasant and make you feel right at home like you've known them forever. Lailoni did my hair and makeup and it came out amazing! I don't really wear makeup but it was my wedding day and I wanted to look beautiful and Lailoni totally made that happen. I just moved here and was nervous about going to a new hairdresser, I got a cut and deep conditioning treatment and Juan was amazing! I was a regular client at another Salon but decided to go somewhere a little more close to home. I was not disappointed! I can't remember who cut my hair, but when I went in and told them I was a new client they assigned me to her. I went in for a simple cut. They straightened my hair to cut it(rather than washing to wet it like my other salon) which was no problem for me because I knew it must have been what worked for them. She tried to clearly understand what it was that I wanted and did not press me to do something else with my hair. Although she did offer suggestions only because I asked. She did not press any of the products that she used, but did inform me when I asked and did not go on to try and get me to buy them. Which I liked, felt like she was letting the product do the talking. She also gave me great styling tips(again because I asked) that I use now and I'm in love with my hair! It was all at a great price.

Not only is it good, it surpassed all my possible expectations!

I arrived as a WALK-IN & was treated just as warmly as the 2 regulars who had appointments. Pretty rare if you ask me.

I witnessed the owner & Head Stylist, Juan, singlehandedly maneuvered 3 coloring jobs BY HIMSELF. He joked with the regulars while asking me what I was looking for... until Claudia arrived.

"Just wait until Claudia arrives. She's amazing!!!," explained the regulars.

Within 20 minutes, walked in this Latina Femme Fatale with 2 young apprentices. I knew: this is Claudia.

Juan started telling Claudia like a surgeon to the head nurse,"She works in an office. We can't go flashy. She already has *enter hairdresser speak here.* Bring her from a 3N down to caramel. Use one quarter 6N and..." Claudia furiously writing down Juan's vision.

In 2 hours, my hair went from a sad blah to hot Mami!
While styling, Claudia gave me home maintenance tips to extend the look (shock!).

They materialized something I couldn't see myself. And then playfully fought who would be in my selfie pic!

This review is way, way overdo. I've been a client of Juan since my youngest daughter was about 10 years or younger. She is now 27 years old. Juan's talent, creativity, knowledge and experience of being an owner and hair stylist is beyond words. His products speak for themselves. I was just passing the place as I though, "Hmmm, I need a trim" so I decided to walk in and see if they would give me one even if I didn't have an appointment. They said it was fine that I didn't have an appointment and treated me with respect the entire time I was there. Even though I have curly hair, they still cut it well ( though they had to straighten it, but they put keratin treatment in it so it wouldn't be damaged too much). I really liked the customer service. Will probably go back here because the last place I went to for a trim fucked my hair up. My layers look nice and my hair feels soft and healthy. My hair in my profile picture is actually how I got it done at the salon today. Good job on them :)

It sucks that Randi didn't like Phoenician Hair Co., I've always come here to do my hair and brows. I've had Selah do my make up for a friends wedding and I loved it so much I asked her to do MY wedding and I felt like the most beautiful bride ever!

The owner and stylist are all SUPER friendly and fun. They know how color, and cut! My mother came to Juan years ago, so when I was younger I would do lots of colors in my hair and it always looked awesome. I've always trusted them with my hair.

I've seen Selah's before and after pics of make up on other clients and they all looked beautiful...so to read that Randi looked like a two bit hooker, must lead me to think she didn't know what she wanted with her make up. Selah is talented and I think her work is magic. I recommend this shop highly.
